Whether patients are looking to improve their health or need treatment for pain or illnesses, our practice focuses on helping them succeed in their aspirations. We help patients lay a strong foundation for continued health.

Our practice recognizes that chiropractic care has to occur in phases to work properly. The three phrases, relief care, corrective and restorative care and wellness care are all vital to helping patients feel better. Our provider helps patients by developing a personal wellness plan with these phases in mind. Patients should plan for at least 26 months of continuous care along with periodic adjustments following this time frame to assist with maintaining your newfound health.

Meet Our Doctor

At Oakview Chiropractic Center, you’ll meet our amazing staff along with Dr. Steven Shockley. Dr. Shockley is a chiropractor who approaches pain and a patient's wish for a healthier life with a "whole person" approach. This means that he focuses on the underlying causes of pain and discomfort, disease and other issues. Many illnesses and pain arise from the spinal column being misaligned, so he focuses on finding the cause to create a plan to get patients on a path to personal wellness and health.

Services at our Omaha Chiropractor

Chiropractic Care Chiropractic care provides spinal alignment. We use gentle techniques, and Dr. Shockley uses his years of experience to help your postural alignment recover and stabilize.

Corrective Exercises Corrective exercises help keep the spinal column in position, strengthen muscles and correct the way the body is used.

Massage Therapy Relaxing tight muscles, loosening them and encouraging good circulation helps the body heal and patients live without pain. This natural treatment often relieves pain for patients.

Lifestyle Advice Simple lifestyle changes can sometimes make a difference in pain levels for patients. Our doctor looks at the whole picture when helping patients overcome illnesses and pain.

Nutritional Counseling Good nutrition helps the body heal. Dr. Shockley can provide nutritional guidance and supplement and vitamin counseling.

Spinal and Postural Screenings Our practice provides screenings at various local venues, or patients can schedule in office.

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Steven Shockley

  • Dr.
    Steven Shockley

I use chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. I take a 'whole person' approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was very impressed with the chiropractic care I received from Dr. Anderson. I had received chiropractic in the past for my neck pain, but not to this level of care. After only a few sessions, my symptoms began to disappear, especially my neck pain, and I know I would not have been able to perform to my everyday work functions without the treatment I received."
    Neck Pain
  • "I have benefitted tremendously from the chiropractic care I received from Dr. Anderson. Not only has the adjustments helped alleviate my stiffness and aches, but it has helped me have more energy and just feel more balanced over all. A few months ago, I was able to resume a favorite hobby of mine: golf. Due to my previous pain, I never thought that’d be possible."
    Back Pain
  • "Dr. Anderson has allowed me to be headache free for quite some time now. I used to have daily nagging headaches that often would turn into a migraine leaving me unable to function. For the longest time, I thought I could just keep taking medication to have the pain subside."
